Here’s another outtake from Daily Bread. I still love this image and am kinda bummed I chose a different LA image over this one for juxtaposition reasons. While this image isn’t perfect, I think that’s what I’m drawn to. The cozy neighborhood feeling and movement add something that I don’t often associate with images from LA. It feels a bit more down to earth and Chicago-like, if you will. Maybe I’m over-thinking it, though.

Another outtake from my forthcoming zine Daily Bread. This image is representative of my mind currently when it comes to producing and attempting to sell the zine. It’s a grind! I’ve given myself an assignment of doing six of these things. One is done, the next is nearing completion and now available to pre-order. I will use pre-sales to help me determine how many to print, but it’s likely to be one-hundred. If you’re curious about the process, I’m working on a longer post for my Substack that goes into more detail (which I will also post here once it’s done).
